SOC 215 - Undergraduate Research (1 to 3 units) Students acquire empirical research experience by assisting faculty with their projects.

Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. demonstrate competent knowledge in the application of basic social research methods when assisting faculty members with their research. 2. recognize the practical aspects of social research by receiving training in and applying basic social research procedures. 3. discuss the ethics of social research, and demonstrate awareness and competence in the application of ethical principles when assisting faculty members with their research.
