CHS 747 - Applied Research Methods in Public Health (3 units) Practical skills in collecting and examining public health data, designing and executing studies in diverse populations.
Prerequisite(s): CHS 712 .
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Spring
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. select methods to evaluate public health programs. 2. analyze quantitative and qualitative data using biostatistics, informatics, computer-based programming and software. 3. select quantitative and qualitative data collection methods appropriate for a given public health context.
