KIN 422 - Motion Analysis (3 units) CO14 Structurally, functionally, and mechanically analyze the performer and performance of physical activities. Provide modifications for performance; from an analytical point of view.
Prerequisite(s): Junior or Senior standing; CHS 370 or CHS 371 or PSY 240 .

Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. demonstrate the ability to assess and modify an individual’s body structure, work capacity, and technique, as well as talent identification and profiling. 2. describe a theoretical framework for valid and reliable assessment and evidence-based modification of body structure and physical capacity. 3. describe a theoretical framework for valid and reliable assessment and evidence-based modification of body structure and physical capacity. 4. develop in-depth analysis to provide a specific case for assessment of work capacity and biomechanics of an individual, the intervention program and technique modification employed,and the resultant influence on performance.
