STAT 726 - Mathematical Statistics II (3 units) Second of a two-semester sequence in mathematical statistics (STAT 725 & 726) covering fundamental topics: distribution theory, estimation and hypotheses testing, convergence, special topics.
Prerequisite(s): STAT 725 .
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Spring
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. develop and apply likelihood ratio tests of hypotheses. 2. derive properties of tests. 3. apply theory of linear models in statistical analyses.
