PSY 749 - Experimental Analysis of Human Behavior (3 units) Advanced study of research in the experimental analysis of human behavior. Exploration of similarities and differences between the behavior of humans and non-human animals, through the lens of behavioral and evolutionary principles.
Prerequisites: PSY 609 ; PSY 711 .
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Fall - Even Years
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. design and implement laboratory experiments to determine functional relations with respect to the behavior of an individual human. 2. critically evaluate and discuss observations and experimental findings using the terminology of behavioral science. 3. apply results from the experimental analysis of human behavior to solve individual, scientific, and social problems.
