MSE 742 - Electronic Structure Theory and Applications (3 units) The objective of this course is to discuss the electronic structure theory and applications, i.e. the basic theory and methods of the electron structure calculation and their applications to predict materials properties.
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Fall - Odd Years
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. apply engineering research and theory to advance the art, science, and practice of the discipline. 2. have an understanding of research methodology. 3. design and conduct experiments as well as to analyze, interpret, apply, and disseminate the data.
