BME 332 - Cellular Engineering I (3 units) Introduction to the basic concepts of biological processes and cellular engineering. Biological processes focus on cellular engineering and regenerative medicine seeking to repair tissue damage by engineering strategies.
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 223A ; EE 291 .
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Spring
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics. 2. apply engineering design to produce solutions that meet specified needs with consideration of public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, economic factors. 3. develop and conduct appropriate experimentation, analyze and interpret data, and use engineering judgment to draw conclusions.
