CS 701 - Introduction to Interdisciplinary Cybersecurity (3 units) Understanding the fundamental issues in cybersecurity by examining challenges through interdisciplinary lenses and seeking solutions that incorporate technical, political and economic considerations.

Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. apply engineering and computer science research and theory to advance the art, science, and practice of the discipline. 2. design and conduct experiments as well as to analyze, interpret, apply, and disseminate the data. 3. show an understanding of research methodology. 4. examine and understand cybersecurity challenges through an interdisciplinary lens.
