An introduction to the multi/interdisciplinary field of engineering education that draws on diverse academic traditions. The primary textbook provides an overview from several different fields such as learning sciences.

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. recognize ethical and professional responsibilities in engineering situations and make informed judgments, which must consider the impact of engineering solutions in global, economic, environmental, and societal contexts.
2. acquire and apply new knowledge as needed, using appropriate learning strategies.
3. evaluate the usefulness of different learning theories for enhancing teaching and learning in engineering.
