Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. demonstrate their understanding of the importance of the correct order of operations by evaluating expressions, either in writing or verbally when called upon in class, as to the application of the correct order of operations. 2. demonstrate their ability to simplify algebraic expressions when called upon in class, or in writing, or both. 3. demonstrate their understanding of how to simplify exponential expressions through application of rules of exponents.
