CMPP 798 - Translational Bioinformatics for Precision Medicine (3 units) Emphasis on computational strategies to analyze the omics data obtained from animal models or human patients. Learn how computational approaches are applied to optimize the development of diagnostic/prognostic tools for precision medicine.

Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. use R programming to perform basic statistical analysis. 2. use basic computational methods to investigate the omics data obtained from animal models or human patients. 3. demonstrate knowledge of how bioinformatical approaches are applied to optimize the development of diagnostic/prognostic tools for precision medicine.
