CEE 672 - Construction Estimating (3 units) Material takeoff processes and estimating, using a methodical approach with suggested check lists and techniques for arriving at a reliable estimate of the cost of a construction task or project, to include direct, indirect, and contingency costs and profits.

Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics. 2. recognize ethical and professional responsibilities in engineering situations and make informed judgments, which must consider the impact of engineering solutions in global, economic, environmental, and societal contexts. 3. apply engineering research and theory to advance the art, science, and practice of the discipline.
