Grading Basis: Thesis/Dissertation Units of Independent Study: 1 Offered: Every Fall, Spring, and Summer
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. situate their topic in its proper historical/theoretical contexts. 2. synthesize primary and the relevant secondary literature to write a well-supported introduction to their thesis topic. 3. frame and engage with critical and theoretical debates appropriate to their thesis topic. 4. produce a manuscript that makes a novel contribution to critical conversations.
