CRJ 412 - Leadership and Administration in Problem Solving (3 units) Personnel, collective bargaining, technology, total quality management, communication, implementation, training, futures, and other contemporary management issues as they bear on community policing and problem solving.
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 3 Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. describe various definitions and theories of leadership applicable to criminal justice agencies. 2. identify, define, and discuss current themes in criminal justice leadership, such as problem solving and strategic planning. 3. compare and contrast various models of leadership and apply them through historical case studies.
