WLL 795 - Comprehensive Examination (1 to 3 units) Course is used by graduate programs to administer comprehensive examinations either as an end of program comprehensive examination or as a qualifying examination for doctoral candidates prior to being advanced to candidacy. For French, German and Spanish majors only.

Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. identify key texts, figures, concepts, and movements relevant to the Spanish language and Hispanic literatures and cultures. 2. express ideas clearly and persuasively in writing, using relevant evidence to support arguments. 3. demonstrate an advanced command of the Spanish language in writing. 4. write critical analyses of cultural texts. 5. demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the Spanish language and Hispanic literatures and cultures.
