IS 788 - Digital Transformation (3 units) Digital transformation is the integration of technology into all areas of an organization eventually changing how the organization operates and delivers value. This course helps students develop the knowledge and skills required to identify, guide, and perform a digital transformation effort in an organization.

Prerequisite(s): Admission to the MSIS program.

Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. analyze the needs and requirements for improved or new, innovative processes using a variety of organizational analysis methods and tools. 2. identify candidates for innovative and improved processes from high-level organizational strategies and goals. 3. model and document existing processes with a variety of tools. 4. determine metrics for organizational digital transformation. 5. analyze and prepare for the impact of transformation on people within an organization. 6. survey new and innovative information technology that supports digital transformation.
