EDUC 659 - Student Teaching Seminar (8 units) This course provides full-time supervised teaching in schools. Students are required to attend weekly seminar throughout the term. (Formerly SNU: ELEM 495/595; SPED 595; EDUC 595; SEC 595)

Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. reflect on personal pedagogy, self-awareness, and emotional intelligence. 2. identify culturally responsive teaching and strategies to access students’ background knowledge and cultural attributes, 3. practice using various technologies in the classroom setting. 4. use assessment and data as tools for student learning. 5. develop personalized and actionable teaching improvement plans.
