CS 328 - Fundamentals of Game Design (3 units) Fundamental topics related to game design. Topics include: game design requirements, game design principles, evaluation, peer review, prototyping.
Prerequisite(s): CS 202 .
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Fall
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. design, implement, and evaluate a computing or engineering solution to meet a given set of requirements, with consideration of public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors. 2. function effectively as a member or leader of a team engaged in activities appropriate to the program’s discipline, creating a collaborative and inclusive environment, establishing goals, planning tasks, and meeting objectives. 3. acquire and apply new knowledge as needed, using appropriate learning strategies.
