Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. analyze how ethical principles and ethical codes of conduct apply to professional in education. 2. analyze how personal values may conflict with the ethical standards for professionals in education. 3. describe and analyze ethical dilemmas one is likely to encounter in a school classroom. 4. identify five legal issues involving schools; e.g. student privacy, religion, student speech, students with disabilities, teacher employment, and so forth and analyze the ethical dilemmas inherent within those legal issues.
