Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. describe the features and define the terminology associated with the main teaching methodologies from its origins to present time. 2. explain the theory and research that explains how adults acquire a second language. 3. critically evaluate existing teaching practices and materials based on your understanding of theory and research. 4. develop teaching materials for the classroom that are informed by theory and research in second language acquisition.
