Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. define what constitutes a spatial analysis using GIS.
2. discuss how GIS technology is implemented in current versions of commercial and open source GIS software.
3. complete research-based analysis utilizing main-stream GIS technology to address a scientific topic of societal concern.
