MINE 101 - Introduction to Mining Engineering (1 unit) Freshman year experience course providing an introduction to the mining industry, the mining engineering discipline, and career paths for mining engineers.
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 1 Units of Laboratory/Studio: 1 Offered: Every Fall
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. describe and discuss professional and ethical responsibility in the context of mining engineering. 2. apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering. 3. describe a variety of contemporary issues in the minerals industry.
