ART 706 - Research and Practice (1-6 units)
This independent study course utilizes the program’s core values to address student generated topics that further the student’s particular research and practice. Requires Director’s approval. Maximum 6 credits.

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. speak and write about their work and others’ work from a perspective informed by a fluid set of critical contexts.
2. show through discussion that they have an understanding of how their individual practices are part of a complex cultural community.
3. represent their work through documentation that demonstrates an ability to engage with the interdisciplinary contemporary art world.
