Students will be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of the field of cultural anthropology, including theories, methodologies, and key concepts. 2. Students will be able to through informal discussion and formal writing, students will demonstrate a basic understanding of the concept of culture and cultural diversity in comparative perspective. 3. Students will be able to critically apply concepts central to cultural anthropology, including ethocentrism, cultural relativism, and cultural construction of race.
