GEOL 101 - General Geology (4 units) Fundamental principles of geology: tectonics, oceans, atmosphere, resources, climate. Credit allowed in only one of GEOL 100 or GEOL 101.
Prerequisite(s): Major or minor in Geography, Geology, Geological Engineering, Geophysics, Hydrogeology, Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Ecohydrology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or departmental consent. Corequisite(s): MATH 126 or higher.
