Interpretations of the self, as separate authentic, interdependent, performative, etc., by Descartes, Kant, Freud, Rousseau, Emerson, Winnicott, Mahler, Hegel, Chodorow, Judith Butler and others. (General Capstone course.) (Formerly PHIL 460/660; implemented Spring 2004.)
