CHS 798 - Field Studies in Public Health (1 to 6 units) Supervised field experience in health and wellness settings. Maximum of 6 credits.
Offered Every Fall and Summer Student Learning Outcomes (if available): Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to understand the characteristics and skills needed to succeed as future public health practitioners, researchers, educators, and leaders. 2. Students will be able to articulate the knowledge base for public health through research. 3. Students will be able to apply key skills to engage with multiple communities through professional and scholarly service. 4. Students will be able to articulate the importance of diversity in multiple public health venues. 5. Students will be able to apply their knowledge to develop innovative and effective solutions to public health problems.
