II. Description
The gerontology minor may appeal to students in demanding majors. This 18-credit course of study covers the psychological, social, and health aspects of aging and includes 100 hours of service learning experience with older adults.
III. Program Requirements (18 units)
To complete the gerontology minor, students must take 18 credits of required core courses optimally starting with GERO 201 . The following courses fulfill the 100 hour service learning requirement: GERO 201 , CHS 337 , GERO 431 , GERO 440 , and SPA 421 .
