II. Description

The Minor in Forest Management & Ecology provides students with a background in ecology, restoration, conservation, and management of forest ecosystems.

III. Program Requirements (20-24 units)

Students must complete the following courses:

• BIOL 314 - Ecology and Population Biology (3 units) CO9 OR
• NRES 217 - Natural Resource Ecology (3 units)

• NRES 345 - Range and Forest Plants (3 units)

• NRES 402 - Forest Management (5 units) OR
• NRES 405 - Silviculture and Regional Silviculture (5 units) CO14
