Music Industry Minor

For students with majors in another field, The Department of Music offers two Music Minor tracks. Both tracks emphasize the development of an appreciation for different music genres, knowledge of music theory, exposure to the history of music, and applied experience in ensemble playing.

I. Program Requirements (21 units)
Students with majors in another field may minor in music industry by completing the following:
A. Core Courses (18 units)
Music Internship (3 units)
B. Select two units from the following (2 units)
C. Elective in a music course numbered 300 - 499 (1 unit)
