Students majoring in another field may minor in political science by completing at least 21 credits in an area of study. They can choose from four interest subjects: general, foreign affairs, public administration and public policy, and American government.
The political science minor in public administration and policy introduces students to the foundations of public service and policy development. Coursework in the minor includes examination of public human resource management, organizational theory and behavior, public policy processes, policy analysis, and study of substantive policy issues.
