Anthropology, Minor

Students majoring in another field may minor in anthropology by completing the requirements listed under one of the subjects below. Students majoring in anthropology may also minor in anthropology by completing 18 units of ANTH coursework not used to satisfy major requirements, and replacing the required courses with nine additional units of electives.

III. Minor Interest Subject - Physical Anthropology (19 units)
Coursework in the Physical Anthropology Minor emphasizes biological aspects of human origins and variation. The specific course of study will be determined in conjunction with a departmental advisor. Departmental specialties in Physical Anthropology include Dental Anthropology, Human Growth and Development, Forensic Anthropology, Human Variation, Osteology, Primate Evolution, and Special Topics.
