Program Objectives/Student Learning Outcomes
At the completion of the program, students will be able to
SLO1. Discuss and evaluate the current trends, needs, applications, diversity issues, and research in the field of instructional technology and learning design
SLO2. Apply instructional design theories to create learner/user experienced design models and digital instructions
SLO3. Demonstrate the mastery of instructional design, technology, and project management skills in classrooms or any educational and training settings
SLO4. Conduct evaluation and assessment in instructional technology based applications, projects, courses, curriculum, and programs.
Admission Requirements
Application deadline for Spring admission: September 15
Application deadline for Fall admission: February 15
- Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalent from a regionally accredited institution
- Minimum undergraduate grade point average (on a 4.0 scale):
- 2.75 for a master’s degree

I. Program Requirements
To complete the M.S. degree, students need to complete 32 units of course work, and complete the program assessment requirements including a comprehensive standardized E-portfolio, and two assessment examinations.
III. Notes
Students will complete the M.S. degree online, however, Professors and the Program Director will be available for face-to-face meetings to discuss coursework or program issues.
