Students who start their career at Sierra College may complete a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Material Science and Engineering by following the course of study described below.
- A candidate for a bachelor’s degree must earn a minimum of 128 units, at least 40 of which must be in courses numbered 300 or above. A minimum of 30 units (300-level or above) must be taken in residence at the University of Nevada, Reno. See Engineering major program page for degree specific requirements.
