The Ph.D. in Business with a concentration in Finance prepares the next generation of financial economists with foundational knowledge and skills in the areas of asset pricing, corporate finance, insurance, and real estate. Training in research methods and statistics prepares students to create and test finance theory. The curriculum is focused on training the next generation of finance academics. However, the training is also valuable to those wishing to pursue a career in industry.
