To complete the gerontology minor, students must take 18 credits of required core courses beginning with GERO 201 , and concluding with either GERO 440 , GERO 439 / or SPA 421 . The following courses fulfill the 100 hour service learning requirement: GERO 201 , GERO 337 / CHS 337 , GERO 431 , GERO 440 , GERO 439 , and SPA 421 .
