For students majoring in a foreign language, the department strongly recommends a minor in a second foreign language. Students majoring in a foreign language or in another field may minor in Spanish by completing the following. For the Spanish minor, 18 units must be numbered 300-499. Six units must be completed at the University of Nevada, Reno campus.
