CHE 301 - Introduction to Sustainable Energy Resources (3 units) Survey of current and potential sustainable energy resources. Environmental, political, social, and engineering evaluation of energy resources such as fossil, nuclear and alternative energy.
Prerequisite(s): CHEM 201 or CHEM 121A and CHEM 121L ; MATH 181 .
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Spring - Even Years
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. recognize ethical and professional responsibilities in engineering situations and make informed judgments, which must consider the impact of engineering solutions in global, economic, environmental, and societal contexts. 2. acquire and apply new knowledge as needed, using appropriate learning strategies.
