Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. determine appropriate laboratory methods to collect archaeological data. 2. identify the appropriate archaeological data sources for addressing specific research questions. 3. interpret archaeological data collected in a laboratory setting. 4. assess archaeological laboratory data analyses in the published literature. 5. describe trends in archaeological data analysis through the 20th and 21st centuries. 6. design an archaeological laboratory project by identifying collections and analytical techniques. 7. produce a data driven journal article-style paper from laboratory collections. 8. lead class discussions on published literature.
