BADM 711 - Seminar in Managerial Accounting (3 units) Provides a fundamental understanding of accounting techniques used to operate an organization, and is designed as an introductory managerial accounting course for MBA students.
Prerequisite(s): BADM 710 or equivalent.
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Spring
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. apply CVP techniques correctly. 2. assess and make accurate decisions using relevant information. 3. categorize products using ABC costing. 4. prepare and analyze selected operating and cash budgets. 5. demonstrate ability to effectively communicate information, concepts and ideas in writing and persentation.
