CEE 364 - Engineering Hydrology (3 units) Fundamental principles of hydrology for engineers. Quantitative hydrology; prediction of runoff; ground water flow; hydrologic applications in urban settings; design and analysis of storm water systems.
Prerequisite(s): MATH 182 with a “C” or better; Junior standing.
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Fall
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics. 2. apply engineering design to produce solutions that meet specified needs with consideration of public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors.
