CEE 453 - Environmental Microbiology (3 units) Introduction to fundamental and applied microbiological principles in environmental engineering with emphasis on microbial growth and metabolism in biological processes.
Prerequisite(s): CEE 204 .
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Fall
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics. 2. apply engineering design to produce solutions that meet specified needs with consideration of public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors. 3. acquire and apply new knowledge as needed, using appropriate learning strategies.
