CS 302 - Data Structures (3 units) Data structures and algorithms fundamental to computer science; abstract data-type concepts; measures of program running time and time complexity; algorithm analysis and design techniques.
Prerequisite(s): CS 202 with a “C” or better.
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Fall and Spring
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. identify, formulate, analyze, and solve complex computing or engineering problems by applying principles of computing, engineering, science, and mathematics. 2. design, implement, and evaluate a computing or engineering solution to meet a given set of requirements, with consideration of public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors. 3. communicate effectively in a variety of professional contexts, with a range of audiences.
