MATH 410 - Complex Analysis (3 units) Complex numbers, analytic and harmonic functions. Cauchy-Riemann equations, complex integration, the Cauchy integral formula, elementary conformal mappings. Laurent series, calculus of residues.
Prerequisite(s): MATH 310 with a “C” or better.
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Fall - Even Years
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. work with holomorphic and harmonic functions. 2. demonstrate an understanding of the complex logarithm and complex roots. 3. integrate complex valued functions using residues.
