PSY 714 - Clinical Practicum (1-3 units) Supervised theoretical and practical experience of individual, group, couple and family therapy.
Maximum units a student may earn: 30
Prerequisite: Current doctoral student in UNR’s clinical psychology program AND pre-approval of course instructor.
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 1 Offered: Every Fall, Spring, and Summer
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. explain and critically analyze theoretical models of intervention for clinical problems presented in clinical cases. 2. develop and communicate concise theoretical case formulations for clinical cases treated. 3. demonstrate the ability to evaluate clinical progress and to apply evidence-based interventions in the course of treating clinical cases.
