APST 467 - Applied Data Analysis and Visualization (3 units) CO14 Introduction to how to use elementary programing techniques, coding, cleaning data, performing statistical analysis, and visualizing data in R.

Prerequisite(s): APST 207 or APST 270 or ECON 262 or PSY 210 or STAT 152 or STAT 352 ; General Education courses (CO1-CO3) completed; at least 3 courses from CO4-CO8 completed; Junior or Senior standing.
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Fall
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. import quantitative data into R and prepare data for analysis. 2. use code to efficiently conduct statistical analyses. 3. visualize data and statistical results. 4. report and effectively communicate statistical results.
