IMSE 310 - Operations Research and Modeling (3 units) The course provides students with knowledge of Operations Research and Modeling. It covers the concepts, theories, and techniques for modeling and analyzing systems to aid in decision-making in various industries. This course focuses on optimization, decision-making, and modeling techniques applied to industrial engineering problems.

Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics. 2. apply engineering design to produce solutions that meet specified needs with consideration of public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors. 3. develop and conduct appropriate experimentation, analyze and interpret data, and use engineering judgment to draw conclusions.
