ART 101 - Drawing I (3 units) CO7 This beginning course is an introduction to drawing in multiple media, such as graphite, charcoal, and ink. It focuses on observational drawing concepts and techniques, as well as visual communication.

Grading Basis: Graded Units of Laboratory/Studio: 3 Offered: Every Fall, Spring, and Summer
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. apply observational skills and eye-hand coordination. 2. use fundamental techniques to draw the three-dimensional world on a two-dimensional surface. 3. apply basic visual communication skills in an art critique.
