This beginning course is an introduction to drawing in multiple media, such as graphite, charcoal, and ink. It focuses on observational drawing concepts and techniques, as well as visual communication.

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. apply observational skills and eye-hand coordination.

3. apply basic visual communication skills in an art critique.
