ART 124 - Introduction to Printmaking (3 units) CO7 Introduction to historical and contemporary fine art prints with studio practice in intaglio, relief, screen process, lithography and monotype.

Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. describe the historical and contemporary contexts of various printmaking processes and integrate them into one’s artistic practice. 2. identify and analyze connections between visual art and other art forms, such as music and film, and apply these insights to studio art projects. 3. demonstrate basic technical, conceptual, and aesthetic skills through class discussions, project development, and critiques.
