ART 345 - Sound and Image (3 units) Investigation and creation of audio and image production for the studio artist. Creation of experimental audio and video works for performance and installation.

Prerequisite(s): ART 245 or ART 141 or ART 151
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Laboratory/Studio: 3 Offered: Every Fall
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. apply analog and digital techniques in the creation of digital video, digital sound, time-based installation, and projected video. 2. analyze and articulate critical issues and theory of sound, video, and interactive art. 3. demonstrate skill in discussion and critique of their creative practice and that of others.
